Terms Of Service

PlantBased is a digital community hub (www.plantbasedbrighton.co.uk) which provides local people a platform which they can connect with each other and build like-minded communities. Our website is intended to be used as a platform for groups, businesses and individuals to share ideas, teach skills and get inspired by using different collaborative technologies.

Our mission is to support a life of wellness, in union with nature. Our vision is to be part of an ethical global society that nourishes the earth and its peoples. These Terms govern your use of the website PlantBased known as our “Services”.

Our Services allow you to connect with people and organisations that you care about by being a geo-relevant, ethos driven platform. We encourage communication with like-minded individuals by sharing status updates, photos and videos, private messaging, creating events, joining groups, or adding content to your profile.

You must adhere to the Community Guidelines when expressing yourself using the PlantBased website. If we learn of content or conduct in breach of our Community Guidelines we will take appropriate action such as offering help, removing content, blocking access, disabling accounts or contacting local authorities.

We believe that accountability and transparency is important. Therefore, we ask that you provide accurate information about yourself such as your real name, the one that you go by in everyday life. Please do not share your password with anyone else or give others access to your PlantBased Brighton account.

You must be over 13 years of age to become a member of the PlantBased Brighton community. If under the age of 16 you must have parental supervision.

PlantBased Brighton is a platform to express and share meaningful content, but not to the detriment of a safe and well-meaning environment.

Breaching these rules is a violation of the terms and conditions and may result in suspension or permanent banning of your account. Moderators are trusted members of the PlantBased community who volunteer their time to help keep the platform a safe and fun place for our members. Their job is to deal with potentially difficult situations, listen and learn from their feedback.

Nobody is perfect! We would like PlantBased to be a community where people can grow and learn from their mistakes. Our moderators will do their part to tread the line between teaching and policing, and you need to do your part by listening to them if you’d like to continue to be part of our community.
